Decoding Advancement

Tuesday, Oct 15 1:30 - 2:30

Presented by Ashley Budd

Fundraising is an essential component of the higher ed business model. I’ll take ten minutes to explain what everyone needs to know about advancement. We’ll sort out why asking for money feels icky and what you can do to become more comfortable making asks. Plus, I’ll cover the work that gets done to raise funds at different institutions. You will quickly see where you fit into the action. Finally, I’ll wrap up with five things every communicator can do to support fundraising efforts right now.
