Of course, the best way to make a document accessible is to start with the original source program, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, or PowerPoint, but what if the document is not available in its original format? Learn the easy way to make all those PDF documents accessible. Learn how to fix the easy errors as well as how to fix some of the most troublesome errors. Mt. SAC started with almost 10,000 inaccessible PDF documents—learn how we reduced that number to almost zero in less than a calendar year.

Eric Turner

Assistant Director, Web & Portal Services

Since early 2012, Eric Turner has managed the Mt. SAC Web and Portal teams through multiple projects, including a total redesign of the website and user portal with an emphasis on responsive and flat design. Immediately prior to Mt. SAC, Mr. Turner worked on data quality analysis through Management Information Systems (MIS) at North Orange County Community College District. He taught multiple MIS, Computer Science, and Math courses as an adjunct professor, and has held distinguished positions in the private sector, including Marketing & Communication Director, and President & CIO of an Internet startup company. He holds an M.B.A. from the University of Southern California, a Master of Computer Science degree from Azusa Pacific University, and a Bachelor's in Math and Computer Science from U.C. San Diego.
