Nomination priorities

The director job description outlines board responsibilities.

The nominating subcommittee reviews all eligible nominations and builds a balanced slate. For this cycle, we’re especially looking for candidates who:

High priority: Work at a very small institution (fewer than 2,499 students) or a private institution
Medium priority: Work at a two-year, associate degree–granting institution; ready to serve as secretary or parliamentarian
Low priority: Work at a small institution (2,500–4,999 students) or a Western region institution; interested in future officer service

How nominations work

Submit by March 13, 2026. You may nominate yourself or another DigiCol member. We’ll email nominees to let them know they were nominated.
The nominating subcommittee reviews nominations, interviews finalists and recommends candidates to the board.
The board elects new directors, typically at its May meeting.
