Digital Collegium grants scholarships each year to members who demonstrate considerable promise and potential in shaping the digital-first future within higher education.
This scholarship is funded by the Endowment Honoring Dr. Tonya Oaks Smith. Donations are always appreciated.
Criteria and application
The scholarship covers registration fees to attend the Digital Collegium Annual Conference.
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must be:
- Current Digital Collegium members.
- Currently employed by a higher education institution.
Preference will be given to applicants:
- From underrepresented populations.
- Working in offices with demonstrably limited resources.
- Striving to become leaders in higher education.
Applications will only be viewed by the selection committee and kept confidential. The committee will not use the collected information beyond scholarship consideration.
Timeline
- Jan. 1-Feb. 28: Scholarship applications open
- March 1-31: Scholarship application review
- First Monday of May: Award announcement and disbursement
