Hosting requirements
Hosting a regional conference is intentionally low lift:
- One-day event
Regionals are single-day experiences designed to fit busy schedules. - Campus or community space
A college, university or partner location provides free or discounted space, coordinated by the local organizer. - Regional volunteer committee
Planning is shared with a committee of volunteers from campuses across the region, reducing lift for the host and strengthening regional connections. - Flexible, multi-topic agenda
Sessions span several focus areas, with built-in social breaks (at least one per four-hour block). An informal pre-event gathering is encouraged but optional. - Support from the association
Digital Collegium provides branding, planning guidance and light logistical support throughout the process.
Past regionals
Digital Collegium has been hosting regional conferences since 2009. Check out the past conferences listing for more details.
